All these women weigh exactly the same.
It all started as I climbed onto the scale at the gym, which had become my normal gym routine. A man who was waiting for his turn took the opportunity to look and check out the golden number( that is a gym no-no btw). He then turned to me and said…”Wow, you carry your weight very well”. What does he mean by that I’m standing there wondering? I laughed and said, “I work hard for this weight and YES I CARRY IT WELL! I have thought about this little stupid moment so many times over the years. Why? Why can’t women get over a number on the scale? I have come to this conclusion. Women look at other women that they feel look amazing. They find out or guess how much that woman weighs and think that they have to be that weight to look great. As the picture above shows, the same weight looks different on everybody. I see women stand on that scale every day and watch their expression change as they see a number that they didn’t want to see. Here is my advice.
Never get stuck on a number.
Always measure your progress by inches
Do not be taken over by the dreaded SCALE SICKNESS- which means the number on the scale sets the tone for how you feel about yourself
“A NUMBER ON THE SCALE DOES NOT ALWAYS SHOW THAT YOU LOOK GREAT, IT DOES NOT SHOW THAT YOU ARE HEALTHY, AND IT DOES NOT SHOW YOU ARE A GREAT PERSON. 120lb’s MIGHT LOOK GREAT ON OTHER WOMEN, BUT 130 LOOKS AMAZING ON YOU!!
